This Five Star Gold Country House sits at the summit of Thurstonland Bank, in in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, a unique location that offers a 360-degree panoramic view across the surrounding valleys and the Peak District National Park.

The provided accommodations in Ackroyd House are two double rooms that are both en suite with private sitting areas: the Stable Room and the Valley View Room.

The Stable Room: The Stable Room offers direct access to the grounds and can be set up as either a twin room, a double room with a queen sized bed, or a family room able to accommodate four people comfortably.

The Valley View Room: With an impressive arched window that overlooks the Holme Valley and Peak District National Park, the Valley View Room can be set up as either a double room with a hand-crafted king sized bed or a family room for four.

Evening meals are not offered at Ackroyd House, however, there are many eateries within walking distance, including the renowned Rose and Crown.

In addition to the stunning view, Ackroyd House’s location also offers a chance to explore the surrounding towns and villages of Pennine Yorkshire.
